Someone once told me that "your twenties will be the toughest decade of your life". I never thought that it could be true. I mean, during this time you are in college, you turn the infamous 21, so how could it possibly be difficult? I've certainly learned my share of lessons in a decade: Too many to count actually.
In one decade I've lived in NYC, worked at Sesame Street, graduated from college, been engaged, moved to Seattle from Texas, been married, gotten divorced, been laid off from a job I had for five years, co-coordinated a huge craft show (from scratch) that went wild - and that's just a few things that have happened. And each one carried a lesson. I won't even go into what I'm going through now.
And, crap. I still have ONE MORE year in my twenties. What will happen this year?
Special thanks to Heather (for letting me interrupt her exciting work day in Tacoma this past weekend just so that she could here me ramble) and Elaine, for always being stuck in the middle, but forever staying calm.
