Elaine and I went to Chantanee (yum!) for dinner and out to the new "it" place in Bellevue for drinks and pool. Although, we didn't make it to the playing pool part - just the yummy martinis. The place was full of the Abercrombie & Fitch crowd typical of Downtown Bellevue. I had to hold myself back from rolling my eyes too much. The place was pretty big though with its fill of Microsoft, computer people.
Jamie is due any day now... I'm a bit scared. She's asked me to be there for the birth, but I'm terrified I'll pass out. I'm honored, but terrified at the same time. I'll need some coaching from Nick, her husband, and hopefully he can give me some pointers on what I should be doing! I keep checking my cell phone to make sure its working properly because the call should be coming any minute (it seems) now. Camera is in my purse... I think I'm ready.
