I'll take Cuba with a side of mac and cheese, please

Last night after work, Justin and I (we met while working on the Boston event for MSFT last summer) decided to have a couple of drinks at Havana on Capitol Hill. Do not go there. First, the waitress was completely rude and looked as if she needed to, desperately, eat a cheeseburger. When asked if there was a menu I could view while waiting, her comment was, "Um, we don't serve food." Well, excuse the hell out of me!

So, I sat there sipping my very flat vodka tonic waiting. Justin and his partner arrive, we have a few drinks, then we are hungry. Our waitress was asked again, "Do you serve appetizers, anything??" "Yes, you can order a cheese or pepperoni pizza from Via Tribunali's (which btw is supposed to be the best pizza in Seattle) across the street. We go and pick it up." Um, okaaaay. A "Cuban" cocktail place serving pizza from next door, a definite loop hole since bars in Seattle have to serve food by law. Weird. We'll know if they really go down hill if they start picking up KFC for their customers.

It was ok though! Because we ended up having a fabulous dinner at
Rosebud. The Mac and Cheese (under the starters menu) is extremely yummy and worth indulging for the carbs!
