Do I have to give up pepperoni...

for fear of contracting the swine flu going around? Apparently not. Cnn.com has an article that claims you cannot get it from pork products as long as it's cooked to 160 degrees.

I like how they are not spreading panic (read: sarcastic). I say: Wash your hands, try not to touch public doorknobs so much and if some dude is hacking next to you - move away. Even then, more than likely that dude did not have the piggy flu.

And, WTF? I thought it was strange when the "bird flu" was going on around the world and now piggies are contagious??!

I have to admit I was giving Oscar (our outdoor cat) the evil eye because I can see the headlines now: Cat Flu Has Taken Over Washington State - Those That Are Contagious Have Grown A Third Eye

What other animal is next?

P.S. Austin's cradle crap is getting bad, ugh. Dr. H gave me some medicated lotion to put on it but I'm thinking there has to be a more natural way of dealing with this stuff.

Dr. Mike says mineral oil during bath on the scalp with a soft brush (or washcloth). We battle this with Griffin off and on - don't worry, he'll grow out of it!
