"Really?! You are going to leave me like this?!

That's the response I got after putting the first cloth diaper on Austin. I think he was trying to tell me, "this thing is gonna leak! I'm telling you!!!" And sure enough, it did. All the way up his onesie. I completely forgot that boys tend to wet way in the front so one must fold down the front cloth diaper so that it doesn't travel up into the clothes. Well, we learned. And we've been doing the cloth diapering since Saturday morning (during the day and Seventh Generation diapers at night) and he seems to not know the difference.

Also, poor baby, mama had to figure out how to not make it so bulky! I've now discovered that cloth diapering is a sort of "art" and will have to be finessed over time. I did figure out how to make it less bulky (with a certain fold) and how to not have leaks - I think we're doing good!
