When Scotch-Brite™ asked me if I'd participate in the Scotch-Brite™ Bathroom Challenge I was all, "Well, yeah I'm challenged in cleaning the bathroom (because I hate cleaning)!" I don't think that's what they meant though...
So, I said yes, I'd participate. Before I knew it a FedEx box had landed on my doorstep and the bathroom was taunting me, and taunting me to clean it. I kept putting it off.
Cleaning supplies tormenting me to clean.
The PR company for Scotch-Brite™ products kept asking me how it was going and if I'd been able to review the products and I was all... um, no, not yet! Especially after the damn virus that invaded our house. I was starting to think this PR company was able to see our bathroom from some special honing device because, yes, it needed to be cleaned - terribly.
Using the awesome, super absorbent Scotch-Brite™ Absorbent Counter Cloths.
I was asked to "count the nooks and crannies" and see if the products helped clean the bathroom faster and better than our old method of cleaning. We have many nooks and crannies and with the Absorbent Counter Cloths it's super easy to clean around the sink, even between the handles and the faucet. The best part is not using as many paper towels.
Woo hoo! Cleaning the mirrors without paper towels using the Scotch-Brite™ Streak-Free Mirror Cloth which is washable/reusable.
Somehow, one doesn't have to use much effort when cleaning with the Scotch-Brite™ Non-Scratch Shower and Bath Scrubber with its' extended arm reach. I loved this also!
Overall, I am pretty impressed. There seems to be a bathroom cleaning product for every need. My favorite's the Scotch-Brite™ Absorbent Counter Cloths. They're thick and super-absorbent. Just spray a little all-purpose cleaner, then pick up a lot of yucky stuff in one swipe. Apparently they "absorb 10 times their own weight", and are also washable/reusable. Anything that results in using less paper towels is awesome.
I also used the Scotch-Brite™ Grout Scubber, which does a decent job of cleaning up the grout in the shower.
Now that I'm aware of the cleaning products available perhaps my bathroom will get more attention in the future!
***Leave a comment and tell me your biggest challenge with cleaning up the bathroom and I will giveaway (with a random drawing, Austin will pick!) a set of Scotch-Brite™ Nook and Cranny Scrubbers (they're awesome and kind of look like ninja stars). I will do the drawing and post the name of the winner by 3pm PT, Wednesday!***
Disclosure: 3M provided all the products mentioned above in this post.

oooo...i like giveaways! i will say that reading about those products does make me want to go out and buy them. that shower scrubby thing...not so much (how does it differ than just a regular brush?) but those counter top clothes? they look way awesomer than using sponges!
so....my biggest challenge? (and i would love to find something to help with it): pee all around the toilet. okay...i get it, boys miss, but how does pee end up behind the toilet??? and how i can clean the toilet area so that it doesn't still always smell like pee? i swear there is pee under the actual toilet that i just can't get.....
Biggest challenge in cleaning the bathroom is the hard water stains. It takes some serious elbow grease to get rid of it.

My biggest challenge is the fact that I have two little boys that I swear run back to whatever they were playing with before the stream stops, if you know what I mean. lol
