- You witness moms dropping their kids off at the Fred Meyer's "drop-in-and-play-while-the-parents-shop area" and taking off for Starbucks next door. Childcare is no longer a luxury that can be afforded.
- Snack time on Saturday has become a few trips around Costco for the samples. The yogurt is always a hit!
- More coupons are tumbling out of wallets than dollar bills.
- I've started to notice that a latte cannot be made out of half French Vanilla Coffeemate and half coffee.
- Netflix subscriptions are being replaced with reruns of Seinfeld and Pulp Fiction playing on IFC.
- Raiding the Whole Foods "Kids' Snack Section" for a juice box and banana and maybe the box of raisins, another juice box, an orange.... how much can fit in the diaper bag?
