Last night the one that has taken residence in my uterus (AKA Frisbee) was extremely active. So active, that I couldn't fall asleep. He finally decided to calm down and I assume he fell into a slumber as well. Scooter seemed a bit surprised when he felt my abdomen ripple like a mini, human earthquake and immediately ordered him to, "Go to your womb, it's time for sleep".
It is extremely strange, assuming, especially in the first pregnancy, to feel something writhing beneath your skin and you have no idea when the kicks and movement will take place. I half expect a slimy, green arm to punch through my stomach from the inside and grab my face. Here's hoping that doesn't happen.

The title of this post made me laugh! Does it feel like you've got some kind of little alien in there? That's what I always imagined it would feel like.
Yes, it is the oddest feeling in the world. I feel guilty for sometimes comparing a fetus to an alien, but not sure how else to describe it. :)
