It's sad when...

the most exciting shopping you've done in the past year was today, when you went to buy new socks and panties at Target.

In the past all panties and underwear in general was purchased from Victoria's Secret. The cut of the panties just fits well on me (bikini cut) so that's where I've shopped - for years.

Since the economy is crap, we have a baby that goes through formula faster than a frat boy hitting the keg, pooping through MANY diapers and we're trying to save money I thought, "hey I'll just buy those packaged panties I always see at Target, 6 for $6.49 and be more econominical (that's how I really say it)."

I get there and almost all the packaged panties in my size are sold out. The only style they had left in my size - the brief cut, which would be fine - if I were 89 years old.

So, I was left spending more money - 3 panties for $6.99. It's like living on the edge - I swear.

Trying not to spend money just sucks doesn't it?

You can always wait for the semi-annual sale at Vicki's if you need to. I always check out the sale stuff at Gap Body. Stuff that is usually 12.50/each gets marked down to $1.99 or $2.99!
