What did I learn this week?

Ok, there are so many rules for this "What I Learned This Week" carnival, but hopefully I'm doing it correctly (even though I didn't read the full set of rules!)

What did I learn this week? That if I plan on being stuck in the house with a 7 week old and it's crappy #$&#$! weather (too much rain!) that I should probably do some grocery shopping beforehand so that there's something to eat in the house. Something that tastes better than all the cardboard sitting in the recycling bin. Yes, I should grocery shop while hubby is here at home with the baby. This is a bit tough though since hubby doesn't get home until around 7:00pm, 7:30pm and by that time I already have the baby knocked out asleep, a glass of wine in my hand and ready to pass out with spit up in my hair.

Yup, that's what I've learned this week. Can you tell I'm hungry right now?

did you know that Safeway delivers? They also allow you to shop online and just have hubby pop in on his way home to pick up all your demands. Not that I can say much since I've been driven to eating Cheerios since tonite is grocery shopping night!

Terra - stole mine! The $10 is totally worth it. I am sure all your local food stores will deliver. oh and 'hubby' can always pick you up something on the way home :)

I miss Griffin being so young because they are much more portable for trips like the grocery store. Now all he wants to do is climb out of the cart or grab things and drop them...over and over again. You are so lucky that Neil is around in the evenings so he can watch Austin so you can get out!

Ugh. That's the WORST. I hate being stuck inside without groceries. But I don't go out in the rain unless it's absolutely necessary.

I agree with the other girls about grocery delivery. But unfortunately it does take about 24 hours.

On-line deliveries are the way to go!

Although, I actually quite enjoyed a little walk down the supermarket aisles on my own when the kids were tiny.
