for Austin. Damn.
He is on his second nap (did you catch that? SECOND NAP!) today. Yes.
Heather Armstrong from dooce.com will be on Oprah along with a couple of other mommy bloggers. Maybe they will have some advice on naps?
I'm drinking WAY too much coffee again today. Austin decided he wanted to party again last night. I hope he does become a rock star, because at least then I can hope to be put up in a really nice, fancy "assisted living" community when I'm old. I actually told Scooter when we first started dating that I wanted to live in one of those communities where older folks get to lounge by the pool all day, attend organized activities like dances and play shuffleboard (I'm not really sure what shuffleboard is exactly, sounds like it could be fun though). He just thought I sounded crazy. But, doesn't that lifestyle sound fabulous? I think so.

I'm with ya on the 'binky not a snooze button!'
I remember a few nights/early mornings when Ryland would be sleeping next to me and I'd shove that thing in his mouth to quiet him down again and make him go back to sleep. When that didn't work, I'd look at the clock and realize, "Oh...he's hungry. Crap! Now I have to actually get up."
Really??? The rubber plug didn't do it for him?
Who is Heather Armstrong??? Just some blogger mom??
Hey - 2 naps is great! Griffin is having a hard time going from 3 down to 2 right now - he gets overtired and cranky. My only suggestion is try to get him to take a nap just before he is ready, because once they are overtired, its over.
Suji, yeah! Heather Armstrong writes a very popular blog called dooce.com. You should read it! There's a link from my site here....
Sunny, yep, I've realized that I need to catch Austin in that very small window of time to get him to nap. Otherwise, yup, that nap time is shot!
You sound like you are getting this thing down! Well, at least Austin is starting to get you trained!
