Things people don't tell you about the after effects of pregnancy

I'm going to be way upfront in this post. The following is a list of wonderful body-adjusting-post-delivery stuff:
  • I went to the dentist to have my teeth cleaned and my gums were a bit inflamed (unusual for me). The hygentist informs me it's from pregnancy and that my hormones are still adjusting therefore my gums were the first to suffer. Great, that explains why they have been a bit sensitive for the past 6 months.
  • My pubic bone still feels like it hasn't gone back together. When I sit for a period of time and then stand up it still feels a bit sore even though I delivered via c-section.
  • Boobs are not "full looking" anymore but rather a slimmed, droopy version that shows Austin literally sucked the life out of them in just that one month.
  • The first menstrual cycle after giving birth - using the wise words of Saturday Night Live - hold onto your f&*king hat. The heaviest ever. EVER. I almost pulled out one of Fredericks Pull-Ups to use just so I could get to Target. Also, I was STARVING, STARVING all day long for a week leading up to this wonderful, monthly moment.
Those are my complaints for the day.
