Every time I've gone to Babies "R" Us it has been a serious chore. I go there because, well, they have a ton of baby crap, yet they somehow sell out of everything I need probably just prior to my showing up. Rrrrr.
We changed over to the Born Free bottles (which I love!) but I needed to return one of the glass bottles so that I could get a sippy cup. The line, as always, to return something was not really long but for whatever reason took forever to get through. The people working the registers move like they all just got wooed over from Starbucks and were asked to work at Babies "R" Us - that very minute!
Oh, and they had two, yes only two Born Free sippy cups left which I did not want because they were 6+ month not 9+month.
I want to open a store called "So Not Like Babies 'R' Us" and it will carry every brand of everything that ever existed for babies. You want that infant walker thingy that you had as a child but was pulled off of shelves because one baby named Norm pulled a pot of boiling water off the stove - you got it!
You want safety pins, the kind your mom used on you to hold that cloth diaper on and stuck you probably 11 times a day? Sure! We'll have it!
Ok, I'm done complaining (and dreaming) now.

Is there a Buy Buy Baby near you? They are owned by Bed, Bath and Beyond and it is amazing the amount of stuff they carry (and stock it like Bed, Bath and Beyond...think 10,000 pacifiers instead of 100).
Uh... that's what the internet is for... not dealing with grouchy workers who know NOTHING! I swear by Diapers.com where I can get most things I need.
And while we're dreaming anyway... could they just drop it off at our house and save us the trip into that seventh circle in the first place?! (And their delivery should be accompanied by a fortifying pint of Molly Moon, while we're at it.)
