Anxiety is a bitch and I wish I could slap her.

So, I'm planning this fundraiser to help a friend of a friend.  And supposed to go to Seattle to pick up shirts that a screen printing company so kindly decided to donate.  I go to drive into Seattle, to a neighborhood I'm not familiar with and all of a sudden cannot breathe.  Everything feels as if it's enclosing on me, ready to gobble me up.  I freeze.  And then suddenly feel as if I need to get the hell out of Seattle.  Like. Right. Now.

I head back home, go to Starbucks and order my "comfort drink" then head to TJ's to grocery shop.  The whole time, disappointment sets in that, once again, the Bitch got to me and all I can do is take a deep breath and move on.

On another note:  I'm going to see if acupuncture can help with some shoulder tensing issues.  I've never done acupuncture before so am considering it to be a birthday treat to myself.

I dunno, with acupunture, you have that BIG worry: deflation! Why not consider taking up drinking instead? It may mean a 12-step program down the road, but heck, AA: what a lovely way to meet people!

All kidding aside, anxiety sucks. I wish you well and send a little prayer Up for you.
