I haven't posted anything regarding Obama's win of the election, mostly because all I really have to say: THANK GOD. I'm not sure if this country could survive another 4 years under a Republican's ruling thumb. It will take a strong Democrat to clean up the mess that George W. Bush has left trailing behind his own blazing butt and I have faith that Obama can do it.
The most exciting thing, politics aside, is that we have a black president. My mom recently admitted she didn't think it would happen in her lifetime and I thought - My son will not know the difference. He will truly believe that anyone can be President, regardless of his/her race.
Our generation has seen many huge, historic events unfold and this is by far one of the most positive and influential.
