One night, completely bleary-eyed, I ran across the public access cable channel for Seattle and just one word to describe the shows: Totally-and-completely- out-there-to-the-point-that-there-must-not-be-any-guidelines-for-having-a-show-on-there.
So, after watching this show and another show called Goddess Kringe or something which is basically a woman babbling and making as much sense as Austin when he attempts to talk, I was thinking we should have our own show.
I asked Scooter what our show could be about and somehow it went off onto a tangent then another tangent of having a call-in show for orcas with STD's (if you follow me on Twitter you'd find more details on the dialogue we had about this).
Suffice to say: I am sold on the idea! Now if we could just find the time...
P.S. I need to do something that does not involve Austin. As much as I love him... And everyone keeps telling me to "pick-up a hobby" but seriously, I just got Austin to sleep, it's what, 10:39pm right now? Poor baby is teething and in pain. After what happened last night I decided to just give him Tylenol earlier tonight and hopefully that would help: No. It. Didn't. If Tylenol works for Austin like it works for me: It does crappy when attempting to take away any pain. We need something industrial because Rescue Remedy ain't even workin' today or tonight! I can see the upper tooth barely starting to come through.
Any advice for nighttime teething remedies?
Oh, back to the "picking up a hobby", um, yeah soooo don't have the time right now. Seriously, even spending 20 minutes to blog each day takes the wind out of me because it usually takes place at this time of night. By the time I attempt to keep the house clean, take a shower, brush my tooth, and floss my tooth it's already past 11pm. So, right now, my hobby is sleep and I partake any chance that pops up.

Nightime teething is the absolute worst, and from my own experience, those first top teeth coming through are the worst pain Griffin went through with teething. Now its pretty minor.
I am just starting to feel like I have time to start my hobbies again. You aren't alone in feeling like there aren't enough minutes in the day to fit one in. And blogging could be considered a hobby!
Marisa - You may try Hyland's Teething Tablets. They are homeopathic too. Those worked great with Kaylee.
Ay! Sleep is highly underrated, let me tell you. Definitely fit it in where you can; it makes such a huge difference! The laundry doesn't get folded, sure, but at least when you get to it, you aren't contemplating ways to kill people with their underwear...
You freeze a bagel (even a mini-bagel) and you let the kid chew on it. Sometimes it works.
Bagels are also great for taking a toddler to the supermarket. You get a fresh one from the bakery first and hand it to 'em and they'll start holding it and beavering away on it. Keeps 'em busy.
